That hunched forward, shoulders rounding, upper back tightening not-so-great sensation?
Welcome to the club, because I am!
Today’s new prenatal yoga class is here to our rescue, courtesy of Sue Elkind’s classes from Yoga International.
Here’s all the yummy moves we’re going to do.
➡️ Wrist stretches, cat and cows, and arm raises
➡️ Strap movements like arm rolls, side-to-side stretches, and chest X openers, followed by cactus arms, wrists circles and longer arm holds.
➡️ Strong mama push-ups, followed by side body and neck stretches (my fav!)
➡️ We’ll end with one hand on the heart, one hand on the belly, and a beautiful blessing.
You will need a strap for this class, a scarf works just as good, along with anything to support yourself while seated (blanket, block, bolster, etc).
Come as you are, bring your hunched forward, rounded shoulders, tight upper back, and let’s journey through this yin yang prenatal class.
