I always knew this day would come, and now it’s officially here.
My first prenatal yoga class is on YouTube waiting to support the mommas-to-be on their pregnancy journey.
This first practice is geared towards the first trimester season with an emphasis on alleviating nausea and combatting fatigue.
Fatigue & nausea are the two biggest changes and complaints that women experience here.
Thankfully, I bypassed the nausea experience, but the fatigue rockedddd me. It was like a daily zombie apocalypse episode that demanded I immediately stop and sleep.
Sleep and me aren’t the best of friends, especially mid-day, so gentle movement and yoga nidra became my medicine.
In today’s prenatal practice, we’re going to move slowly and intentionally so you can reconnect with your body and revitalize your energy.
We’ll work through a mixture of stabilizing and strengthening postures, as well as relaxing ones too.
Now because I filmed this class during my second trimester, the sequence is “generally” safe if you’re in the second or third season of pregnancy.
A note on the word “generally.”
To be 100% transparent with you, I am not prenatal certified or formally trained, rather I’m pulling from trusted resources and my own journey to create these classes.
