and welcome to our next video in the Chakra Energy Aligning Meditation series!
Last week we tapped into the throat chakra with a meditation that included the kali mudra and affirmations to communicate clearly and listen authentically.

Today’s guided meditation taps into the third eye chakra, ajna, which is your center for intuition, wisdom, imagination and visualization (over in the BMS Studio, we loveeee this energy center for helping us connect with our Inner Mentor’s!).
On the mat, we’ll practice pranayama and the palli mudra to quiet our inner critic, awaken our imagination, expand our vision, sharpen our discernment, and be more open and connected to our innate wisdom.

Now if you’re curious about the chakras and want more third eye info, let’s go a layer deeper.
Did you know that…
- You have the ability to imagine anything, like really anything.
- You can re-create past memories with so much detail that it feels like the memory is currently happening.
- You can gaze into the future and imagine yourself 10, 20, 30 years from now.
- You can visualize your day and mentally scan everything you want or need to do.
- You can see yourself on vacation, teaching a life-changing yoga class, or practicing meditation every morning…. all with your imagination.
And guess what else?
You do this seeing, thinking, gazing, imagining thing alllll the time.
Except it’s usually happening beneath the surface of your awareness with no rhyme, reason, or direction.
And maybe, just maybe, your inner critic (if she’s like mine) gets to play a bit too much during this “day-dreaming” experience. Casting illusions, “shoulds” and a haze over your dreams and visions.
We gotta change this!
At the sixth chakra, we bolster this common “day-dreaming” experience with purpose, intention, and awareness by asking ourselves…
How do I want my life to look and feel? How do I want to shape my day-to-day reality?
How do you want your life to look & feel in the realm of your…
Home. Health. Finances. Family. Sexuality. Personal Power. Career. Relationships. Spirituality.
Give yourself some extra time and space to reflect upon these life arenas, and the visions you have for them. Maybe even write them down to keep a running vision list of what you’d like to see be made manifest.

Then turn to today’s meditation to shine a light on all that’s possible, or anytime the way forward seems clouded by judgment or inner critic haze.
