We have arrived, hello new year, hello new decade.
This moment is big babe, don’t downplay it. It’s an opportunity to turn over a new leaf, and yet…..
The last thing we need is to feel rushed or pressured to create new goals and dreams.
Admittedly, I used to be that girl.
I would rush to create a New Year’s resolutions list, share it with anyone would who listen, probably to receive some form of validation, and then quickly lose sight of my resolutions within mere weeks of their creation.Or, I would the choose the opposite route and say fuck it, not participating in this new year hype, it’s all made up anyway, who cares anyway.
That’s happened to you, right? I’m not alone here, yeah?
So this New Year, let’s try something new ➡️
- How about we take our time and celebrate ourselves first?
- How about we reflect on our experiences and accomplishments from both the year and the decade past?
- How about we give ourselves a mere moment to transition, honor the process of the pause, instead of pushing forward?
- How about we acknowledge where we came from and the amazing lives we have?
- How about we use a well-designed system to craft our dreams, then actually follow through and create them?
This is my new year plan ?
Slow and steady. Intelligent and impactful. Powerful and peaceful.
