A Sacral Chakra Meditation to Believe in Your Needs

Welcome to the second class in our chakra aligning meditation series.

Last week we explored and cared for our root chakra through mudra, affirmations and grounding visualizations.

Today’s meditation brings us to the sacral chakra where you’ll leverage your breath, affirmations, and a lotus flower visualization to do two things. 

First, we’ll chant over and over – I believe in my needs and choose to receive.

Second, you’ll connect with the playful, fluid-like nature of the svadhisthana chakra to ask yourself – how can I take easeful and playful action to make my needs a reality?

As a new mom who’s navigating an entirely different reality, believing in my needs is the last thing that’s been happening. 

I’ll have the best of intentions to go to a local yoga class, do an at-home workout, make work progress, or read a chapter in a book…

But somehow the laundry, dishes, organizing the home or scrolling social media takes precedence. 

Choosing me and my needs has become a distant memory, and the more I resist what I need, the shittier I feel about everything. 

(even when Myers has the baby, I’ve found myself resisting my needs!)

If you’re in the same boat as me, for whatever reason, then I urge you to take ten and come join me.

It may have to happen while feeding your baby, folding laundry, commuting to work or while nodding off to sleep…

But being fluid & flexible is exactly what the sacral chakra teaches! 

So come meet me wherever you can for this meditation to happen.
