25 Minute Evening Yoga Stretch to End Your Day & Feel Proud of Yourself

Welcome to your 25 Minute Yoga Stretch to Release Tension, End Your Day and Feel Proud of Yourself. This is the perfect bedtime yoga class for all levels, all yogis are welcome here.

Unroll your yoga mat, relax, unwind and center before you head off to bed! This bedtime yoga sequence is THE antidote to a busy day. I’ll lead you through gentle yoga postures, full body stretches and a breathing visualization to calm the mind. This all levels yoga sequence has postures like thread the needle for the upper body, figure four for the hips and closes with alternate nostril breathing. It is a slow, gentle and easy yoga class to soothe the body, mind and soul.

My hope for you is that by moving the body to release physical, emotional, mental, and energetic tension from the day, you’ll go to bed feeling proud of your daily efforts, nourished, centered and ready to have a great night of sleep…. so you can wake up and have a great next day!

Just so we’re clear, I’m not a good sleeper myself yoga fam.

I’m a night owl by nature, and if you add a difficult day to this mixture, my evenings aren’t the most relaxing experience.

Oftentimes my mind begins to race as bedtime nears and I get stuck on the never-ending loop that I didn’t do enough, I’m not good enough, my day sucked, there’s still so much to accomplish, blah, blah, blah…

It’s not a fun loop to be in or a useful way to end the day (don’t you agree?).

Fortunately, as with most things in life, I know that my yoga toolkit can provide me with a solid solution.

I slow down, go in, and use practices like these calming stretches and pranayama exercises along with mantras to quiet my mind, quiet my “not enoughness,” and ease my way into a deep state of rest.

Instead of letting myself enter the cycle of doubt, I set time aside to focus on what I DID accomplish that day. Celebrating my wins at the end of the day and leaning into calming yoga practices like this one help me shift my anxious, low vibrational thinking to worthiness, respect, and a feeling of completeness.

I utilize bedtime mantras like: I am enough, I did my best, I am proud of my efforts, I am worthy of rest, I love myself no matter what.

Tonight when you step on the mat to practice, we’ll take time to stretch the neck, jaw and throat to release constriction around the throat chakra region, an area where we hold tension from things like difficult conversations both with others and ourselves (cuz we know we talk to ourselves all day long).

Make sure to take note of what kind of inner monologue loop you’ve been in and are in.

Then use your yoga toolkit, the mantras I shared, and this gentle yoga class to release anxious, negative thinking and switch to empowered, positive being.

Write I AM PROUD OF MY EFFORTS in the YouTube comments of the video so we can celebrate our wins, our day and each other.

All my love,

Allie, xx
