Welcome to your 20 minute morning yoga class to star your day with power and purpose.
Why morning yoga? To understand, I must share an amazing phrase from my yoga teacher….
“If you want to have a good night, have a good day, and if you want to have a good day, have a good night.”
This new morning yoga class is my attempt at helping you (and me) create this good day, good night experience via short, effective yoga classes.
So fellow yogi, please s ay hello to your power pose morning flow ☀️☕?
I designed this class with a no frills, keep it simple attitude.
- Wake up
- Transition from lying in your bed to lying on your yoga mat
- Slowly awaken your body through easy, feel good movements
- Breathe energetically
- Make your way to a standing forward fold, relax and hold
- Roll yourself up to standing, then power pose
And what’s a freaking power pose? Great question. To power pose ⚡
Stand with your feet firmly planted, hands at your hips, body active and aware, then gaze straight ahead for a few minutes.
While this might seem pointless or silly, it’s actually the exact opposite.
Power posing is both grounding and empowering. It helps settle your energy, create clarity, and provides purpose, direction, and focus. All the things you need to have a good day, so you can have a good night.
And finally, this class is less than 20 minutes because most of us have places to be (minus me, but I still appreciate a short practice).
