The Yoga Trapeze.
Today’s agenda is simple, yet oh so complex – release and rejuvenate our backs.
Our back, specifically the spine, is one of the major life force components of who we are and how we operate. It’s the structure that keeps us standing, facing each moment, and taking step after step. It’s also the location of the Chakras, the seven powerful wheels of energy that spin within us, helping to maintain balance and wholeness.
Because our backs works so damn hard for us, day in and day out, I crafted this sequence to return the loving favor. And what better way to return the favor than use the yoga trapeze.
As I’ve said before, the yoga trapeze is a beautiful tool to facilitate inversion therapy, or in simpler terms – release and rejuvenate our back. Here’s how it works –
- We sit in the yoga trapeze and slowly make our way into an upside down shape.
- Once inverted, the trapeze creates space between each vertebrae, helping to release the constant compression that’s placed on them.
- The blood flow reverses nourishing the entire body, specifically energizing the brain.
