I’ll be honest…
I filmed today’s class at the end of my workday feeling a little bit defeated, a little bit disappointed and anything BUT whole.
I had every opportunity to stay at my computer and JUST keep working, but I was getting nowhere. My energy was zapped, my ability to focus was nonexistent, and my creativity was drained.

And yet, my inner critic kept shouting at me, “Just keep going, you’ve gotta keep producing!”
And this is where years of practicing yoga ON & OFF the mat, and working to steadily build a holistic yoga toolkit came into play.
My wisdom body, who we call the Inner Mentor over in the Body Mind Studio, gave me a loving nudge. She reminded me that when I’m tapped out (energetically & mentally), it’s time to take care of my self.
And that’s the purpose of today’s class!
