I promise the name of this post isn’t misleading…. If you don’t feel completely rejuvenated after this yoga quickie, then I guess my version of a pick-me-up is highly skewed. Or maybe your version is.
Either way – this 5 minute yoga video is simple, easy, accessible anywhere, and provides instant results.
It’s that good.
I recently learned this beautiful/simple sequence in another teacher’s class and immediately knew it was a keeper. And when I say keeper, I mean – I left the yoga class, pulled out my yoga notebook, and feverishly wrote down the sequence (before it escaped me).
That’s how it works in the yoga world and almost every world – we recycle each other’s inspiration, add our own personal touch, and create an entirely new experience.
Pretty cool, right?
If you’re a yoga teacher who’s looking for more flows, my recommendation is – go to more classes, jot down what you love, then add it to your personal yoga toolbox. And if you’re not a yoga teacher, this same inspiration recycling thing can be used for your personal practice. You can have a notebook too… it’s not just us teachers who get one.
So back to this EPIC yoga quickie, here’s what you need to know –
- It can literally be done anywhere, unless you’re in public and have a dress or skirt on (don’t want you sharing your lady parts).
- The breath must be linked to the movement, that’s how the magic happens!
- You don’t need a mat.
- Your shoulders, chest, and heart will love you for this.
- Your hamstrings and low back will also love you.
- Your entire self will feel more connected, alive, refreshed, and ready to be a badass.
