I’m currently on relaxation operation mode in preparation for the BIG DAY (aka my wedding)! The past few months have been an absolute whirlwind and they’re not slowing down anytime soon. I’m in that stage of life where everyone and their mother is getting married & I’m lucky enough to be in 3/4 of the weddings.
This period of life is such an incredible experience, filled with unconditional love, loads of fun trips, pretty dresses, and beautiful moments. And while all of this wedding stuff is EPIC, it’s also a tad exhausting.
So today is all about relaxation, gentle stretches, self-love, or what I like to call….
To set all of that in motion, below is a 45 minute ish video to awaken your side body channels.
Our side body is generally ignored during our day-to-day lifestyle – sitting, driving, couching, reading, running, bike riding – you name it and the body is facing forward. This yoga sequence is an opportunity to strengthen & awaken your side body lines.
Please remember that while one side stretches, the other strengthens – so please be aware of both sides and pay equal attention to their movements. All too often, we bring ourselves into a posture and focus on one side only, which results in the other side collapsing, sinking, and not receiving the intended benefit.
And end rant – you get it.
Pay attention, practice awareness, love both sides equally – and enjoy the process!
