New Moon Gentle Yoga Ritual (do this every month)

When the next new moon arrives use this class a beautiful way to to create a spiritual & repetitive ritual.

If you’re unfamiliar with the lunar system, below are key new moon concepts ⬇️

  • Characterized by darkness, a void of light in the night sky
  • It’s a signal to draw inward and retreat
  • Time to make space for rest and relaxation
  • Opportunity for stillness and introspection
  • Aligns with menstruation, wintertime and the fourth life stage (the crone archetype)
  • Goal is to connect with the divine feminine & soften the divine masculine that’s often on overdrive
  • It’s a process of slowing down & withdrawing from the external world
  • Helps reveal our deeper layers of knowingness, wisdom and intuition
  • Gives our wisdom body a voice, allows us to hear our heart’s whispers
  • Creates space for new ideas and innovation to happen
  • The aim is that all of the above guides our decisions and actions throughout the next lunar cycle

To help you embrace these new moon 🌑✨ energetics, I’vereleased a gentle new moon yoga ritual on my YouTube channel that’s intended to be repeated on a monthly basis.

This yoga ritual includes gentle asana, pranayama, mantra, mudra and stillness to enhance your intuition, connect with your wisdom, and set powerful & meaningful intentions that align with your Truth, Essence, or innate Wholeness.

No props are required, but I do recommend a bolster, two blocks, a blanket, comfortable clothing, and a journal ✍🏽 to plant new moon intentions that you’ll water 🌱💦 and nourish throughout the next lunar cycle.
