How to Stop Stressing, Overthinking & Worrying | 3 Powerful Mantras & Mudras

Yoga fam, I am so excited to share these new tools with you.

Over the past six months, I’ve been deep in continuing education land working to complete my 300 HR YTT through Yoga Psyche Soul with Ashley Turner.

I’ll be done in two weeks 🎉 just in time for my final months of pregnancy. 

Now I’ve learned a shitload, it’s gonna take me years to digest it all, but one of my favorite features of the training was the consistent use of mudras & mantras. 

I’ve always loved these two yoga tools, but admittedly felt silly bringing them into my classes. 

Not any more! Mudras and mantras will forever be taught and used here. 

Yay! But what’s a mudra Allie? And I kinda-sorta know what a mantra is, I think. 

Mudras are gestures of the hands, face or body that promote physical health, psychological balance, and spiritual awakening.  

Mantras are sacred words that are used as a tool or instrument to train the mind, hone your thoughts, and create body, mind, soul transformation.   

Now that we’ve got a shared understanding, let’s dive into today’s new yoga video. where you’ll learn ➡️ mudras & mantras to stop stress and support you.

🌿 Bhu mudra – gesture of the earth for cultivating stability 

🌿 Svasti – gesture of wellbeing for protection from negative energy

🌿 Pranidhana – gesture of surrender for letting go

During the class, I’ll show you how to do the mudra, provide further teachings, and then we’ll practice together with mantras too.

When negativity, rigidity, stress or anxiety settle in, pull these practices out of your toolkit to regain neutrality and balance.

Said more simply, use them to not lose your shit 🤯
