Candlelight Yoga for Stress Relief | Gentle Slow Flow

I filmed this gentle class at the end of my work day, and oooooh, it was almost as good as the glass of 🍷 I had just after that.

…just kidding, sorta!

All joking aside, I share why this new class is not only a holistic experience, but also a great opportunity for relaxation, decompression, and the release of mental & emotional tension in this Insta share here.

But if you’re not into watching reels because of the time suck that inevitably happens, below are my main reasons:

➡️ It helps still the fluctuations of the mind via gentle, intentional movement

➡️ It includes pranayama designed for relaxation

➡️ It includes a mantra to support a calm, centered mind

Side note – “stilling the fluctuations of the mind” is the aim of yoga according to the Yoga Sutras, one of the central texts that outlines teachings we draw from as teachers & students.

Now on the mat, we’ll begin with a relaxing pranayama, followed by seated & floor postures, and end with a savasana that incorporates a mantra.

You will need a strap, belt or scarf, and any and all other props nearby for added support.
