20 Min Evening Yoga Stretch | Bedtime Yoga for Beginners

Yoga fam, I’ll keep this post short and sweet…

Over on the tube, I’ve got a brand new bedtime class for a relaxing evening and a restful night of sleep.

Just give me ten minutes to deliver on the above, and I promise you’ll be thanking me.

Here’s what you can expect on the mat with me ➡️

We’re actually going to start standing with gentle twists to ring out tension, unresolved emotions, and unconscious thoughts from the day past.

I find that a little bit of movement goes a long way when we’re trying to enter into a state of stillness (aka hours of rejuvenating sleep).

We’ll then settle into a calming forward fold followed by a grounding squat that we’ll hold. Both of these are intended to settle your system.

We’ll continue with simple movements like cat and cow, child’s pose, and bridge, all postures that are intentionally low to the earth so you feel stable and supported.

Finally, we’ll end with supine twists and banasana to ring out any last bits as we make our way to bed.

I hope you’ll join me this evening.

Come in cozy clothes, dim the lights, light a candle, and prepare to care for yourself.

Meet ya there fam.
